Dr. Ryder is one of the best doctors I have ever had the experience of dealing with my health issues. He is very thorough in his diagnostic analysis and follow up of patients concerns. He takes his time when explaining your test results - what they mean and how to deal with them in a healthy manner. You never feel like you are rushed or just part of the factory assembly line!
I’ve been seeing Dr. Ryder for many years. He is an excellent doctor. Takes the time to explain everything and makes clear recommendations. I truly believe I am alive today in a large part due to his advice.
Dr. Ryder was the best cardiologist I have seen. He listened to everything I had to say. He reviewed prior visits and test results. He gave me a thorough exam. He answered all my questions in detail and I understood exactly what he said. He suggested a calcium screening, a carotid artery scan and a stress test. I never had a calcium screening, and it was a quite a few years ago since I had a stress test or a carotid artery screening. I am thankful I found Dr. Ryder.
I came to Dr. Ryder for second opinion concerning my C.H.F. with his professional and medical dedication that he has shown, which is exactly what I was searching for, Dr. Ryder immediately put me in the right direction to healing my ailing heart. 5 months under his care my heart has improved immensely. I strongly feel Dr. Ryder saved my being on this planet earth, alive. My wife and I want to thank you for your genuine care, concern and professionalism. Looking forward to seeing you in Dec.
Dr. Ryder was very busy the day I arrived so I waited two hours to see him. However, he did not rush me and gave me his usual quality time and attention. He always explains everything clearly. I have been a patient of Dr. Ryder for many years so I know what to expect when I see him...I know I will get quality care.
This was my first time seeing by Dr. Ryder. I was pleased with his demeanor & his medical knowledge. He spent time listening & talking with me about my symptoms & educated me on the reasons why I may be having issues & the tests that he would be ordering to rule out causes. I felt that he partnered with me & made me feel comfortable in the next course of actions being taken. It's nice to know that Dr. Ryder takes time to listen to his patients and not just write an Rx & send you on your way.
DR Ryder took the time to explain all my symptoms and proposed ways to treat them. At no point did I feel rushed and the wait was short for a DR office these days. The electronic check in was nice too.
I don't like being talked down to. Rude and too fast.
His referral to have EECP treatments so many years ago, when I had to drive all the way to Old Bridge , has made phenomenal improvement in my heart health. It involved driving there 5 days a week for 7 weeks. I eventually found locations much closer - for a few years, they were nearby at RWJ and/or Hamilton Cardiology. I wish there was a facility nearby again, since I now dread the current Route One or Oxford Valley drive. I prefer avoiding heavy traffic ! The complex on Quaker Bridge
