I visited Dr. Rodney Rastegar yesterday where he removed a bad tooth, installed a bone graft as needed. This is my third such procedure here. Each time I cannot say enough about the excellent work that he does. I have read the negative reviews and disagree. I have been to Garden City and Great Neck and the staff are helpful and Fine. But more importantly the work, knowledgeability, and professionalism of Dr. Rastegar is constantly excellent.
he was booked but got me in today. he saved me. golden hands. caring. he once did 5 implants in a day. Simoly the best i drive from brooklyn to see him. worth every mile
He was rude , condescending. Refused to answer my questions and did not make me feel at ease at all. I felt rushed out the door.
I have never written a review in my life. This is a tooth pulling factory, they can not wait to get you in and out as fast as possible. The nurse who roomed me was rude and had a bad attitude. Dr. Rastegar came in and said, ok, we’re going to pull your tooth. I wanted to ask a questions before we actually did the procedure. He said, this is a discussion you should have had with your dentist already. On the first visit the doctor took an x-ray and gave me an estimate on tooth extraction, bone graft and implant. The next time I visited for actual tooth extraction and bone graft procedure, I was told that my request for bone graft and implant claim was denied by my health insurance, resulting over $500 more out of pocket than estimated. Nobody from the surgeon's office notified me about it, they claimed they sent out a letter to me but they couldn't find the said letter when I asked for a copy in their system. Dr.Rastegar and his staff are the best. They are very good at making you feel comfortable, my procedure was quick and pain-free.
He is kind and good doctor
my second visit was yesterday 6/10/19, first visit was 2017. I never had an extraction in my life and he removed two wisdom teeth and a third tooth in front of the wisdom tooth, I felt no pain. Second visit same experience and for me who is terrified of dental work. I can't believe I let it be. BUT I trust his skills and his experience speaks volumns. I recommend him highly. Dr. Rastegar & his team are outstanding. Over the years Ive had many dental issues. Dr. Rastegar has always made time for. Solved my problem,was gentle, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Hard to believe I would most definitely refer my family and friends to him. His new offices are beautiful and extremely comfortable. If you are in pain while waiting to see him it’s just a bonus to have comfortable seating and a soothing environment.
