Dr Gu was terrible to me. He did not listen to anything I had to say. In fact, he told me that I needed to see a pain management specialist. In response I told him that I thought he was a pain management specialist. He said yes, but that he could not help me. He muttered every time he spoke, which wasn’t that much and he never made eye contact a single time. My appointment was less than 5 minutes long and my co-pay was $100. This isn't really Dr. Gordon's fault, but this practice has been difficult to communicate with. I've had appointments canceled and then told I'd be getting a call to reschedule, which never comes. I've had procedures canceled because insurance didn't preauth and then no follow up from the office about what to do instead. When I call and ask for information, I'm told someone will call me back, which almost never happens. I have to be very aggressive in advocating for my own care, which is frustrating.
