Too interested in doing injections & procedures instead of discovering the true underlying problem.
I am nearing 60, so I’ve seen my share of doctors. Dr. Dennis is probably the best doctor I’ve ever seen in my life. She was friendly (even exuberant!), thorough, efficient, didn’t talk down to me in any way. She spoke to me at my level as she learned that I had educated myself about my condition and treatment options, made sure I understood my x-ray and my treatment plan. Dr. Dennis is among the most personable and caring physician I have ever met. I adore her!
Terrible experience. I was misguided and ignored. Dr. Dennis spent 5 minutes with me, ordered x-rays that were inconclusive then sent me off to (expensive) physical therapy. No less than 4 phone calls were not returned, to myself and/or the physical therapist, causing issues with insurance and additional expenses for reevaluations due to her negligence. Still in pain and out over $1000 for nothing. I'll be finding a more attentive doctor. Shame.
Dr. Dennis is the most caring physician I've ever been to! She is so sympathetic to the pain you are in, and is focused on getting you out of your pain.
She misdiagnosed me (leaving me in pain for over a year) and only wants to do injections -- never recommends you for surgery because she doesn't perform surgery. Went to several other doctors who told me I need an a spine fusion. When I reached out to Dr. Dennis asking if I could continue PT with her practice, she refused basically saying I'm not her problem now. Please don't go see her. Go to another resurgeons doctor if you must, but don't waste you time with her.
