I went to see Dr. Brandão for my ruptured Achilles tendon that was originally misdiagnosed as a bad ankle sprain in my local emergency room 3 months ago. Dr. Brandão was incredibly knowledgeable and explained my treatment options thoroughly. He was very transparent, explaining that for a patient my age (72), surgical repair carries a statistically higher risk of complications like wound healing issues and infection. Dr Brandao was very patient and listened to my problems with my foot from day one. I had a surgery two Years ago with my foot. That didn’t make my foot better it kind of made it worse. Dr.Brandao address the issue never talked ill of the other doctor. He did a total foot reconstruction which included bone graphs. The recovery time was long, however nine months after surgery I feel great. I took a trip to New York with my sister and we walked 12 miles each day. Thank you, thank you Dr. Brandao and his staff.
