Dr Casola is a master at orthopedic surgery - especially cases that are difficult! He is a compassionate no nonsense surgeon. I was very lucky to have had him as my surgeon!
I had knee replacement surgery on both knees in June & July of 2020 with one of his affiliates. It went well until the right one became infected in April 21. This guy was 'on-call', and didn't know me from ADAM!!!! Came in on a Sunday, to assess and operate on my infected leg. Took charge, explained perfectly what I needed, performed the operation, and promptly followed up. If you want to be stroked or 'babied', he's not your guy. I had been treated by another Dr. But things went bad and Dr. Casola saved my leg, and then had to replace my first knee replacement.
Horrible. Worst bedside manner I have ever seen. Arrogant, condescending. He’s been kicked out of Ft. Myers because he alienates other doctors. He should retire. Incompetent as well.

Dr. Casola is highly skilled surgeon and resolved a critical issue relating to a prior amputation done by a different doctor. I am very thankful for his services.
Dr. Casola did surgery on my proximal humerus fracture and dislocated shoulder as I was admitted through Gulf Coast Hospital emergency room. I have never met such a hands on and caring doctor. I never felt rushed nor brushed off, even though I asked the same questions many times and requested clarification of terms and procedures. He is truly a patient oriented doctor.
