Wonderful doctor, who spent a lot of time with me explaining my surgical procedure. Surgery went great, recovered well. Office staff friendly and prompt with scheduling. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Santaella may be experienced and a great doctor but his billing office is totally unprofessional and just for that, I would recommend avoiding him because of the pain we have gone through with his office. Since they captured the wrong insurance information and his incompetent office did not follow up calls from the insurance, the matter ended with collections. We have been following up for so long but no luck, what should one do, collections doesn't get it.

Seen in an ED here in Dallas and he said "there is nothing wrong, just follow up in my office in 2 weeks". I was back in the er the next day with a raging gallbladder infection. This guy is clueless.

Although you will have to wait when seeing him in the office, He is worth the wait. He takes his time with each patient to make sure they understand the procedure and all questions are answered. Recovery was quick and easy due to his ability. Would highly recommend him.
