Judging by other patient reviews I can tell that my complaints about this doctor are not far off the mark. He is young, cocky, totally lacks bedside manners, recommends a list of uncovered treatments such as botox injections for minor neck pain. I am no specialist, but it sounds to me like a tylenol might be in order. Well, he and his office staff are probably the biggest pain in the neck after all. Main complaint is that it is extremely hard to get in touch with anybody at the office to confirm an appointment, reschedule or... read more
I am a nurse who specializes in Parkinson's Patients. I refer anyone with this disease to Dr. Izor because I have worked in this field for many years and have had patients who went to other doctors and they did not do as well as Dr. Izor's patients do. I strongly recommend Dr. Izor and his staff to anyone who suffers from Parkinson's Disease!!
Dr. Izor and his staff are great. I found them very helpful.
Dr.Izor was highly recommended and my husband and I have been extremly happy with our choice. He is most always on time, is considerate, helpful, caring, a good listener and has a good sense of humor. And thanks to Dr. Izor and his staff, my Parkinsons has much improved .
This Dr. is starting to become very annoying. he comes in very late, always with an excuse. Our time is just as valuable as his. He also had us see a gentlemen that is not a real physician? I dont think I'm going to continue. The care is definately going downhill.
Uncaring, selfish, and most immature physician I have ever met. Needs to bone up on Ethics and Bedside Manners. Got the impression all he cares about is your billfold. His staff is rude just like Isor.
I went to see Dr. Izor and was told that I would have to pay $3,000 up front for Botox injections since insurance companies are slow in reimbursing the doctor. What the.......you mean you want me to pay $3,000 for injections that my insurance covers. Pure Insanity!!! I asked Dr. Izor about this and he said, "we have to wait a long time for insurance to reimburse us." Hey, all doctors have to wait, Izor, and how utterly rude of you to make me cough up over $3,000 for Botox injections. I went back to him for my 3 month visit t... read more
Dr.Izor is over-scheduled,does not read a patients history or medical records and has no isues with humiliating you in front of staff. After a 2.5 hr wait in his office,I finally got to see him for some vertigo I was having. After a very brytal 15 min exam of my limbs? He announced that my primary diagnoses of fibromyalgia was a trashcan diagnoses, implied that I needed phenobarbitol and hypnosis to treat a psychsomatic disorder. He sneered when I told him 2 other neurologists,my family dr. and my own psychiatrist agreed wit... read more
I was diagnosed with Parkinson's in Ausgust of 2008. Dr. Izor, my neurologist, is very knowledgable in this field. He has given me exemplary care and guidance. I had DBS in Ausust of 2009. Dr. Izor worked closely with the surgeon, and the results have been remarkable. I also can't say enough about what a great job the PT Kara has done, initially in pain management, then in programing my neurostimulator. Her positive attitude helped me immensely. The front office staff(Amy and Amber), are pleasant and efficient. If anyone has... read more
