I had an augmentation done in January. It was a great experience, I also did local anesthesia and could feel things, but as it says in the paper work, that CAN happen with only local! I can't imagine if people are so upset with their consultations and his staff why you would pursue having him operate on you?!? I had breast augmentation and by far this was the worst experience of my life. I felt my first incision, when I told him I could feel it he yelled for the nurse to give me more drugs to knock me out, a procedure that should have lasted maybe an hour lasted 3, because coming out he had popped one of my implants and had to go back in. My wife went to Dr. Dryden for reconstructive surgery on her eyelid after having a cancerous growth removed by a Mohs surgeon. We live in New Mexico and had to travel a long ways to get there. He helped us get a special rate at a motel close by and he and his staff were always available for any and all questions. Went in for consult on Tummy Tuck. I have lost 80 pounds, 3 C-sections and loose flabby skin on stomach. He told me "If you are here for a tummy tuck and you have TriCare West, it's not gonna happen. Its terrible insurance and they barely pay for the operating room". He was upbrupt, the rooms were dirty and he was a QUACK to say the least. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!! First of all we waited 2 hours to be seen for a consultation that lasted 5 minutes. It was a consultation for my boyfriend and I was with him. When the Dr.Dryden finally came in he handed me a gown and asked me to put it on. I told him the appointment was for my boyfriend and he proceeded with his 5 minute consultation. Had breast augmentation and paid Dr.Dryden before surgery.On surgery day after I was given my local anesthesia Dryden informed me I owed him an extra $2700 because I was quoted wrong. He wanted to reschedule because he had more important clients to help. My husband had to call in to give them the payment.After I was sent home was told I had to wear my bra 24/7 for 6 months. I had a consult for a tummy tuck and he said that I should just get lipo, but I know I need the tummy tuck due to all the loose skin from pregnacies. Then he proceeded to tell me I should get lipo on my butt and then smacked it!! I asked to see b/a pictures of tummy tuck patients and he didnt have any to show me! Weird don't you think! Had a brow lift done. Now one of my brows is higher than the other. When I complained about this. He told me one was higher to start with. When I was concerned about cost, he told me I could save by only having a local. I felt a lot of it and it was very painful.
Requested tummy tuck to get rid of flabby skin and stretch marks but informed me new form of lipo was just as effective, "not all." Skin around abdomen became a little bit tighter but the look is unattractive as I'm still left with ugly stretch marks and wrinkled skin. Had Brazilian butt lift in which I saw not one bit of improvement, I believe the tight girdle used after procedures only helped to flatten rear.
