My total knee replacement was seven weeks ago. Dr. Montgomery listened to what I had to say about my condition, took good Xrays, and then showed me and explained the results. We concurred that I needed knee replacement. Prior to the surgery I told Dr. Montgomery that it would help my emotional and physical recovery if I could return as soon as practical to my daily swimming routine. Dr. Montgomery was very personable. My husband was with me and we both liked him. He explained my options after reviewing my xrays. I saw another doctor before, and this doctor referred me to Dr. Montgomery because he only did front entry hip replacements and I needed side entry due to having mesh on my belly from Crohn's surgery. Dr. Montgomery does side entry. I was glad to have been referred to Dr. Mongomery and am now waiting for my surgery date.
Doctor Montgomery is a very good doctor, professional, kind hearted, caring, listens patiently, making patients feel relaxed and comfortable. Very concerned, answer questions with clear, detailed information, supportive - giving positive and encouraging comments. I am a senior patient. I have been a patient of Dr. Montgomery for many years. I won't go to anyone else. He's so knowledgeable and I get great results for my knee problems. My most recent visit I received a cortisone shot in my knee. Before the shot my knee would be so stiff it took me a few minutes after standing up before I could move it and loosen it up enough to walk. After getting the shot I no longer have the stiffness. It's wonderful. It's been 2 months and still feels great. Absolutely no stiffness at all now. He's the best.
