Had aortic valve replacement on February 24, 2022. All was a success and outcome great. I am a grateful patient and appreciate Dr. Kalim's skill and talent. Also appreciate his team members during recovery. They were all very polite and professional. Thank you to Dr. Kaslimi and his team.
You don’t need to research for a cardiac thoracic surgeon past this doctor. Dr kalimi is a heart surgeon who has golden hands and an equally golden heart. We were recommended to him By other surgeons who are not even affiliated with the hospital where he practices. You couldn’t get a better referral than from other doctors. My father needed Mitral Valve surgery and Dr. Kalimi made sure to do everything he could to repair the valve rather than replace it. The healing and repair went perfectly. I'm very grateful for his specialization and dedication to teaching and performing Cardiothoracic surgery.
I was very impressed with Dr. Kalimi's surgical abilities. The staff could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable. South Shore University Hospital was one of the best hospitals I have ever been to. I would recommend Dr. Kalimi, his surgical team and his staff to anyone who needs his skills.
Dr. Kalimi has built an incredible surgical team with the skills and compassion required to execute the most challenging open heart surgeries. I am 2 1/2 weeks out from repair of an aortic aneurysm and replacing an aortic valve with severe stenosis. Each day things get a little bit easier; I look forward to a full recovery. As far as I am concerned, Dr. Kalimi saved my life! I highly recommend Dr. Kalimi to anyone needing heart surgery.
Doctor is careless, doesn’t explain anything, seem just care about money.
Doctor didn’t seems to cate about the patient, he is rushing, doesn’t explain much or educated about the condition im suffering. And told me my surgery can be done in 6 months when in reality it was an emergency.
It has been almost 2 months since Dr. Kalimi preformed a minimally invasive open heart surgery on me at April 12 2021 and I already went back to work for a month since everything went perfect after Dr. Kalimi fixed my ASD and repaired my tricuspid valve. Dr. Kalimi performed a Mitral Valve Repair and repair of two broken chord tendons, on September 30th, 2020. His skill and expertise was amazing and the staff in the OR, CTICU and Stepdown Unit were professional, kind and caring.
