I went to Dr. Brown as a referral many years ago for what I thought was a wart on my finger. He took one look and realized it wasn't a wart at all, but what's called a "digital mixoid cyst" which was under the skin and between the knuckle of my finger. He referred me to a surgeon in Newton who did the surgery on an outpatient basis. I found Dr. Brown reliable, but I don't have a lot of experience with him, so can't say if he's terrific.
