I should have run the other way when Dr. Tassan first came to see me at HUMC. He walked into my room, asked for the wrong patient, and left. Dr. Tassan returned 6 hrs. later and initially denied that he had been to my room earlier that day. Desperate for an oncologist who I could understand, I asked him to be my doctor. After that encounter, I was NEVER able to reach him - he did not return calls nor did his staff.
A great doctor, always with a warm smile and very helpful in answering your questions. He knows his field, and does the most to make you feel comfortable, in fact his whole staff is great from front desk to the great nurses that draw blood, to chemo room, where his chemo staff do all that they can to make you comfortable and great at their job. I can not say enough about Dr Tassan. I have been taking my friend to see him for 7 plus years for CLL cancer. Sincerely, Linda Adamca
This is your typical number equal pay doc. Dismissive in listening to issues because he’s just trying to push one product. Don’t even think for a minute you’ll get a return call because we tried for three weeks and either he doesn’t do phones cause he can’t bill the insurance or his staff doesn’t give messages. Either way my family will not put our lives in his hands and I would suggest you don’t either.
Dr. Tassan is a wonderful physician. He is friendly, but is very straight to the point. He is very focused on your health and skips the small talk. He doesn't sugar coat anything and is very honest and compassionate. Plus, I never wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room.
Dr. Tassan is amazingly compassionate and optimistic. He has always gone out of his way to explain things and put me at ease. I would highly recommend him.
I had a HORRIBLE experience with Dr. Tassan. Although he may have been knowledgeable about my condition, he completely lacked any compassion or empathy as I tried to explain to him my situation and the pain I was in. When I asked him questions pertaining to my clot and treatment, his responses were all terse --- to the point of condescending. He really needs a lesson in good bedside manner.
Dr. Tassan is awesome. My husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor 7 years ago. Dr. Tassan gave him great care. He always answered all of our questions and concerns. He has great bedside manner and treats serious conditions with optimism and positivity. Will miss seeing him but my husband is 7 years in remission and no longer needs follow ups. I would highly recommend!
Look for "Best Doc ". Robt. Tassan M.D. lacked connectiveness to establish rapport. I also found his manner to be curt to the point of being dismissive and reluctant of informative explanation or care.
