Dr. Tassan is my angel. When all hope was lost, immediately I entered his office for the very first time, he made me to see, to know that, at the end of the tunnel, there was light. He made me to know that, i wasn't alone in the fight for my cancer, he made me to know that, we were in together. He went ahead to demonstrate it. Dr Tassan runs a large clinic like clockwork. He rapidly narrowed down to my issue (iron deficiency anemia) and I lay on a bed twice receiving an iron intravenous infusion. Results were on portal very promptly. One-star reviews here demand he call with the results. But not one doctor I have seen in recent years did that, because all the results are right there on the portal, and I can google each to understand them.
He has taken excellent care of me for ten years.
Dr. Tassan is a kind, caring, and amazing doctor. He is very direct and to the point and knows his stuff. 10 out of 10!
First of all, extremely difficult to get in touch with him. Lab testing appointments were unorganized, had to leave the hospital twice because of appointment issues. Dr. Tassan will never call you to tell the results. I had to spend so much time and energy to get in touch with the doctor, where the conversation was over in a couple of minutes. He does not call you for blood results. My mom waited 3 weeks and could not get in touch with him or the office. We had to get an appointment to speak to him to actually get the results and next steps. A quick 2 minute phone call would’ve been fine for the amount of time and information he gave us. When we finally saw him, he was very condescending and spoke to us like we were 5 year olds. All the bad reviews I read about him are all very true.
I have been going to Doctor Robert Tassan for several years for low b12 and iron deficiency, and he has been amazing. The staff there could not be more kind and respectful, not to mention the Chemo staff there, but most important of all is what he has done for my gentleman friend who has CLL cancer. Dr. Tassan does not disclose Pet Scan results, you must create a My Chart to read report and ask questions. A colonoscopy was recommended on a Jan., June, and Oct. 2019 pet scan, he failed to mention thus causing major health concerns. His treatment plan was chemo (revlimid) causing a downward spiral. Went for a 2nd opinion, doctor insisted on colonoscopy which determined a virus and immediately stopped chemo. Dr. Tassan treated my iron and B12 deficiencies after my primary care doctor dismissed me. He listened to my concerns and paid attention to my symptoms. Thank you Dr. Tassan for giving me a quality of life back. His staff is wonderful, especially the infusion nurse!
