Very congenial, easy to talk with, down to earth, inspires confidence. Absolutely no pain or discomfort following inguinal hernia repair.
I went to the ER at 3 am on a Sunday with pretty serious pain. Dr. Ahmed operated on me later that morning. His analysis of the situation was accurate and he was able to resolve my issue. He correctly set me expectations: my recovery has proceeded as he predicted. When I had questions after my surgery, the nursing staff was phenomenal: helpful, patient and understanding. I was very impressed at my post-op checkup and how much time he spent answering questions.
You will find no better surgeon than Dr. Ahmed. He is simply the best in all areas. Great surgeon. Great communicator. Great person. His staff is always outstanding. Smart, kind and competent. I have two Surgeries over the past three years...everything went perfectly in all ways. Cannot say enough great things about the doctor and the practice. John L

I met Dr Ahmed at his Leesburg Office. His staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr Ahmed has a wonderful personality and instantly I felt a calming about my hernia surgery. He explained what he was going to do and I knew I wanted him to do my surgery. Two weeks later I was getting an umbilical hernia surgery and everything was wonderful. All the medical staff that is with Dr, Ahmed is excellent. I highly recommend Dr Ahmed and his practice.
Dr Ahmed is an amazing doctor! He made me feel at easy having my gallbladder removed and is very patient. He took all of my concerns into consideration with a high level of sensitivity. Dr Ahmed left minimal scars as well.
Dr. Ahmed was recommend by my Gyno Dr. A Dobrynski. Having been diagnosed with an abnormal mammo is scary enough, but then needing to have a breast biopsy is scarier. Dr Ahmed was wonderful and has such an amazing bedside manner I knew immediately I would be in the best hands possible. The entire staff was so helpful and made the surgery scheduling a breeze.. I am so thankful to have found such a great and caring doctor.
I have now had surgery performed by Dr. Ahmed on two ocassions and could not have been more pleased with the outcome. Dr. Ahmed is pleasant and extremely knowledgeble, as well as an excellent surgeon. Any encounters that I have had with his staff (both office and medical/nursing) have been handled with a high degree of sensitivity and professionalism. I would give him the strongest recommendation possible.
I highly recommend this wonderful doctor to everyone. He is extremely competent, excellent at assessing the whole person, has a wonderful bedside manner and is an awesome surgeon.
