I saw Dr. Eppley MANY YEARS AGO back when he was in Berkeley. I am so surprised he is still practicing!! However, it is a HUGE BLESSING to the Ehlers Danlos community that he is! I had another surgeon do my 1st 2 surgeries on my shoulder and both were failures. Dr. Eppley's surgery is still 100% PERFECT after about 15-20 years which is a HUGE SUCCESS for someone with Ehlers Danlos and/or any hypermobility disorders. Dr. Eppley is an excellent physician and surgeon.
He did my shoulder surgery. All went well. His right hand Dr Honsik is great.
I'm a very active individual with years of injuries requiring both surgical and non-surgical treatment. I've had 4 ACL surgeries on my right knee alone. The last was completed by Dr Eppley. It has also lasted the longest and is still going strong. I can't think about going anywhere else. Back, shoulder, bicep and knees are still working great thanks to their clinic.
