Dr. Hesselgesser treated my knee for a painful bone on bone situation. Previously I got the gel shots from my orthopedic doctor and even though the shots gave me some relief, I was still in pain and had limited movement. Went through radiation in 1996 on neck and lower jaw. 10 years later my jaw snapped into pieces from excess radiation. Had to go thru major surgery at UCLA. Never able to eat again and now on a feeding tube. To much radiation destroyed my mandible.
I was a patient of Dr Hesselgesser in November 2013. My oncologist sent me to consult with him on a skin rash. In 2010 and 2011, I was diagnosed with leukemia and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma . Dr. H. recommended six weeks of radiation - 5 days a week. Stating, "Once you complete this treatment, your skin rash will never come back. I guarantee it." He treated me for a form of lymphoma I was NEVER diagnosed with. I brought Dr. H photos of my bleeding face. More than once he said to me, "Don't be bringing me these vampire pictures."... read more
Well I haven't personally experienced this, but I have it on the best authority that Dr. Hesselgesser is a very educated and experienced physician in this area. If this technology were at all workable, he would be the best there is, and I think it does stave off some terrible quick growing cancer cells.
