Dr. Christie is clearly very knowledgeable. He correctly diagnosed my cancer issue and prescribed the treatment that resolved my illness almost ten years ago. I have checked in with him every year since I returned from abroad, and he has always been helpful and easy to communicate with. I would recommend him very highly to anyone who thinks he or she may have a cancer issue.
short wait before seeing the doctor, Dr. Christie is pleasant, answers my questions and very thoughtful.
Wonderful Oncologist!!! So knowledgable, superior communication skills, takes time to explain, never seems rushed, very approachable and encourages patient participation!! Superior care!!!! Great staff to support his directives. Thank God for such a great Doctor and man!!
Dr Christi is a wonderful Oncologist!! He is thorough, has magnificent communication skills and immense knowledge and experience in his field. He has taken superb care of both me and my husband.
I have been a patient with Dr, Christie since 2014 for multiple myeloma. He has been terrific with his medication routines as well as explaining how my cancer is progressing or fading in terms I can easily understand - he is patient and never gives me less time than I feel is necessary. He was the driving force with setting up my stem cell transplant at the Emily Curric Cancer Cener at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. I firmly believe I can not be in better caring hands than his
In 2010, I found my legs swelling up and gained nearly 20 lbs. Dr. Christie examined me meticulously and quickly diagnosed I had a certain type of lymphoma. He prescribed and started a two-year treatment that I continued to take while posted abroad. After I returned in 2013, he determined that I had been fully cured but continued to monitor my condition. My latest examination showed I continue to be in good health. I and my family are very grateful to him. I also enjoy my meeting with him.
Very knowledgeable and highly professional. Very positive attitude, a good listener, and responds in depth to questions and concerns. Not afraid to answer hard questions. A really excellent physician.
