Nice guy to talk to. He will send you to get labs and prescribe medication. No follow up even if you have a reaction to the medication.
Talks about cars and his vacation but not about you and your visit .can't get referrals out to much needs surgeons and can't write a prescription properly . Just ask local pharmacies thos guy is a joke !
My physician retired in February and so to stay with the same group I made an appointment with Dr Charkowick immediately. The earliest appointment he had available was in September. After waiting over 6 months, only two weeks before my appointment, his nurse called and told me he was no longer taking new patients. Now I will likely wait another 6 months to find a new primary care doctor. I am so utterly disappointed with this group.
If you are basically a healthy person and just need a friendly sociable guy for well check ups he's your guy. If you are a sickly person in need of a dr. To see you within 24 hrs, he wont make time to see you. You'll be directed to an emergency care center . I am really disappointed Had hopes this young man would be more dedicated to his patients.!
Very professional doctor. Very thorough, he goes through everything with you & does not rush you. I would highly recommend him
Dr. Charkowick has great bedside manner. He takes his time and really listens. He actually seems to care! The front and back office staff are all friendly. I never have a long wait. What more could I ask for?

I moved to Florida from Arizona last year and needed a new family doctor. On the new patient paperwork it asks you to list the medications you take. One that I take is Hydro-Codone. When the medical assistant brought me to the exam room she said we don't proscribe that here and I said I know. When Charkowick came in he said the same thing. I felt very judge. He didn't go over my medical history, just ask why I was taking all these meds. I am finding a new doctor. I don't what this doctor
I just moved here, and needed a family doctor. I did my homework and found the best doctor for me. He was just what I thought he would be. Kind, knowledgeable, and was in tuned with updated ways to make you have a better quality of life. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends!
