Dr Berry repaired my tibia when I had a nasty spiral fracture. His office returned my phone call when the surgeon I was referred to ignored me, and Dr Berry got me in for surgery the next morning. My leg healed ahead of schedule, and I was back to playing hockey less than six months later. Additionally the office staff did a great job getting me as much PT from my insurance as possible.
Dr. Berry is an excellent orthopedic doctor. He explains things clearly and is humble enough to make referrals. His referrals are excellent.
This is more a criticism than a bad review. Let me explain this: anyone who knows doctors as I do knows they are scientists, they love medical data and complex problems, they are compassionate, and in general, they love to help people and seek opportunities to thrive and achieve success. I have seen Dr. Berry for a torn ACL, which he surgically repaired and you can’t even see a scar on my leg. Before I had that surgery, Dr. Berry had me go to physical therapy to strengthen the other muscles in my leg. After the surgery, my recovery time was ridiculously short, compared to other people I had known to have ACL repair by other orthopedic physicians. I went to Dr. Berry with hip pain that other doctors just dismissed. At the point i saw Dr. Berry, i was at a point to where i did not think i could live with the pain and problems much longer. It effected every aspect of my life. I was out of hope. I saw Dr. Berry in his Wylie office. He was late a couple of times and the Wylie office was newly opened so a little unorganized.
