My process has been unusually difficult. An implant surgery that had unexpected complications. When I am able to see or talk to Dr Campbell he is 100% invested in helping to resolve issues. His personality is great. And his knowledge is impressive. He treats his patients well. Busy surgeon. Medical assistant issues, but that seems par for the course these days.
Made assumptioons based on information on drivers lisence rather than actual facts. What kind of unprofessional medical practitioner does this?
Dr. Campbell is an incredible surgeon for which I am truly grateful!!! Thanks to him, I am living happier and healthier than ever!!!
Bedside manner is terrible. Has very little to say. Very strange for a doctor.
He is a great doctor with excellent bedside manner. Everyone in the office was excellent also. The people complaining about no trash bins in room need to get a life. How does that fall under Dr Campbell ratings??? Leave the stuff on the table for them to take care of.
So far not very good! Have had questions about my up coming surgery and have tried to reach Doctor Campbell since wednesday, finally after several calls to his coordinator I finally had to get abrupt to get some answers. Finally Doctor Campbell called me and it was the strangest call. It was like, “crickets” I almost asked “are you there?” Very strange! Major communication and information problems with the Doctor and the office. Considered canceling the surgery but I really need this done.
Normally I don't write reviews, but this doctor and staff left me with such a great experience that I had to share it. I like that fact that he was very transparent about what I should expect. Before visiting him I had high anxiety on being operated on, but he and his staff were very reassuring and everything went very well. Thank you so much for this experience!
This review is really geared more towards the whole office and not just the Dr. First off there was nothing given to me help me clean up after a thorough rectal exam which, in hindsight was good because there was absolutely no receptacle to through anything like it away in. I sat there with the sheet I was covered in and the pad I had been laying on all balled up without a place to get rid of it. Then I was given a script for the wrong patient, one that wasn't even seen that day! Not good.
This is not specifically about Dr Campbell, from whom I've received thorough and expert treatment over 12 years, but about the Tri-City Colo-Rectal Surgery facility. I discovered that surgery and procedure patients are told to arrive one hour before the scheduled event is to take place. This works well, I am sure, for them. But it irritates me that all patients are penalized by the occasional patient that is tardy. The time for me to do the preliminary paperwork was all of 5 minutes.
Dr. Robert A. Campbell III, MD has a 4.5 star rating with 50 reviews.
