I’ve been a patient of Dr. Z for nearly five years. When first diagnosed he instantly put me at ease and went over every detail throughly. He has always been open, honest and out for my best interest. Most decisions were made together. I always felt part of the team. At this point he’s is like family to me. Best care you could possibly get!
Dr Z has been treating me for over 8 years. He's kind and thoughtful, gentle and thorough. He takes the time to explain, and he listens without being in a hurry. He cares for his patients' comfort; he listened when I asked for cloth gowns, not those flimsy paper things. He has worked with me through several medications to find one that has the least side-effects. Extremely thorough and caring
Dr. Z is the BEST!! Very thorough in explaining diagnosis, options and overall process! He was there every step of the way, even on days of treatments! He is also a major proponent of preventing hair loss and assists with the process of hair caps!
I am a former oncology RN. I am so grateful that I changed oncologist. Dr . Zelkowitz is the most caring MD. He is a big factor in my recovery.He saved me mentally.
