I called looking for a suboxone provider and being very nervous to go into this program, the ladies at the front desk where very professional and helped me get an apt ASAP. They where friendly and explained everything I needed to know. I was taken back by one of the Medical Assistance and she started the apt with me, then I went to see an arnp Susan who made my experience that much better. Before the end of the apt Dr. Bunt came in and explained the last of the program to me.
Worst doctor unprofessional and not courtesy have never encountered such disgrace on top of being lied to about price to see doctor he would not refund me my money PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE WILL REGRET IT WENT TO GET HELP LEFT WITH MORE STRESS
My PCM sent me to Dr Bunt, because I wanted to stop taking antipressants. I saw the Dr for about 5 min when he introduced himself during my 1st visit with the NP, whose job is apparently to keep getting you to take medication. She decided I had ADD. I'm over 50 so this was news to me. Rather than stopping medication, she kept talking me into trying different meds (for depression, anxiety, & ADD), most of which caused bad side effects. Nearly a year later, I was more screwed up than before.
I have been going to Dr. Bunts office for over 4 years. I see Suzanne Berkeley every month she knows and understands more about my condition than my doctors do. The office is extremely nice and friendly Christie the office manager works with you on any situation you might have, overall the whole office is extremely professional and knowledgeable.
Business response:
Thank you, Jamie! We appreciate the positive feedback! :)
I thought I would see Dr. Bunt, I got an appointment with a nurse-practitioner instead. She told me Dr. Bunt refuses to prescribe Benzodiazepines and that I had to stop taking mine immediately. I expressed worry about this. My previous psychiatrist said that it was dangerous to stop immediately and it could cause seizures. She became angry and unresponsive. I realized she was incompetent and I had to ween myself off the Benzodiazepine without any professional guidance until I saw a real doctor.
I was referred here by a psychologist in the area. Dr. Bunt is rarely available and my care was managed seemingly only by his P.A.,Khaleda, who encourages email communication only and then is often unreliable in responding. For 10 days I tried to reach them while out of the state after forgetting my medicine, got no response, and went into withdrawals. Even though Dr. Bunt was my doctor, I rarely saw him. My psychiatric care was severely mis-managed based on the opinions of other doctors.
I've only seen Dr. Bunt once for 10 minutes during my initial appointment. I always have my appointment with the same person and she is friendly, she prescribes my medication and we talk. However, if Dr. Bunt is my doctor I would like to see him on occasion!
I was referred to Dr. Bunt by my general practitioner. I spent 2.5 hours in his office with a nurse practitioner but never saw Dr Bunt with whom I had an appointment. This nurse prescribed medication that major interaction warning with meds I am currently taking. This is the whole reason my GP sent me to this psychiatrist in the first place.
