Dr. Richard Kaufman is the fifth doctor I saw for my ankle and subtalar joint issues of my right foot. The third doctor I saw, performed three surgeries and then basically just told me I was gonna be in pain for the rest of my life and they no longer take my insurance. The fourth doctor wanted to do three separate surgeries and put me in an external fixator between each one. There’s no way I could’ve tolerated 6 to 8 months of no walking. Great place saved my mom's foot , definitely would have been amputated had we not seen someone of his same skills/caliber seem really passionate about his work I definitely recommend this doctor. We travel 2 hrs 30 mins to get here and its been worth it
I have been a patient of Dr. Kaufman for several years. Dr. Kaufman and all his Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Everything is always very clean and orderly. Dr. Kaufman does not recommend unnecessary procedures or surgery; treats only what is necessary. I can highly recommend Dr. Kaufman and Ankle and Foot Centers.
