I was rushed to the ER because my shoulder felt like it was on the opposite side of my body, after trying to catch myself whilst tripping. I was THAT person screaming bloody murder in the ER. Embarrassing. Dr. Mitchell was called in by the emergency physician in charge. Why? Because Dr. Mitchell knew what to do, and the attending doctor did not - neither did anyone else on duty. One of the worst experiences I have had with a physician to date. He barely even looked at my hip, which is what I was there for. Was very condescending and unprofessional when He spoke with me. At one point He looked at me and said “What do you want me to do about it.” Go literally anywhere else other than to see Dr. Mitchell!
I have labral tears on both sides anterior and posterior. He was arrogant and spoke bad about a current physician I have had for many years. Broke Hippa’!! (Privacy) He did not discuss my MRI results although the screen was in plain view. He did however refer me to another Physician who specializes with my current issues at hand. I hope he is pleasant. The first time I saw Dr. Mitchell he was very nice and listened. Today he barely let me speak. I had to apologize for interrupting him so I could tell him my issue. I was asking him questions while he was walking out of the room. He gave me a boot and sent me off. I was not pleased at all. The ladies in his office are very nice. I was disappointed in him.
I have been in to see Dr. Mitchell twice. Each time he was wonderful! He was so kind, smart, honest and quite funny! He couldn’t do much for me, (I have had multiple surgeries in the past and something surgical may do more harm than good) but, gave me direction in what may help my issues. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you for your kindness Dr. Mitchell!
