I came in to see Dr. Bearoff for flank pain and I asked if it might be my kidneys. He immediately dismissed my concern and said "No, these are your kidneys" and proceeded to punch my kidney. It was a light punch but still, how unprofessional can you be? Avoid both him and Dr. Pacropis.
I'd have a hard time giving anything better than one star when I was charged for treatment I never received. I called to schedule my annual wellness visit (which is fully covered by insurance), which the receptionist gladly accepted. Upon seeing the doctor, he explained they don't do physicals until they send out for blood work. This is a totally fair practice, and I understand. But, again, I specifically called to schedule my AWV and nobody alerted me of this procedure. That being the case, I assumed they would just charge ... read more
Pretentious and an a-hole. I asked him if my back pain might be kidney pain instead, and he said "no, these are your kidneys" and JABBED me in the kidneys with his fist. Wasn't a hard punch, but still what kind of doctor treats a patient asking a simple question like that.
Dr. Bearoff is nice and personable. However, seriously poor and borderline deceptive billing practices. I scheduled a physical and came into the office at the scheduled time. I filled out paperwork, got weighed, confirmed what I wrote on my paperwork with the doc and was told to come back in a couple weeks to get my physical. I was annoyed that I wasted my time with that initial "appointment" which was supposed to be the physical but fine. Lo and behold, I was then billed $175 for that initial "appointment" on top of the bil... read more
