Dr. Clarfeld is highly regarded by his peers and they value his expertise. Dr. Clarfeld graciously met with me In 2008 for a second opinion. He was very patient and thorough, he explained everything and listened to my questions/input. After examining me and reviewing my current and previous 20 years of mammograms/ultrasounds, Dr. Clarfeld gave my doctor his opinion/recommendation which saved me from having additional surgical procedures. I have recommended him many times over the past 12 years.
Dr. Clarfeld is a phenomenal doctor and surgeon, I am so grateful to have found him. A cancer diagnosis is a very scary experience, and I had so many questions about the surgery. He was totally focused on my concerns during our appointments and always kept asking if I had more questions. When I called his office to ask a question, he returned the call himself, the same day. He truly cares about his patients and honestly he is the best health care provider I've ever had.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 40, I was given two names by the radiologist who did my biopsy and after doing some research I booked my appt. with Dr. Clarfeld. Both my husband and I had TONS of questions and emotions at that first meeting. He never made us feel rushed, was diligent and gave us lots of answers and notes after every meeting. He is quick to pick up the phone and call back if you have sent a message to him. My 2nd choice was SCCA but hands down he is the best.
Dr. Clarfeld was absolutely wonderful. I knew I was in good hands after meeting with him several times. I would highly recommend him to all my friends and family who might need a breast surgeon,
At age 52, 8 years ago, I faced the choice between a partial vs full breast removal to begin my treatment of breast cancer. I sought the best medical practitioners and found them! Dr Clarfeld not only put me at ease and answered my 10 million questions. He was quite helpful as I grappled with life changing options. His lumpectomy and diagnostic lymph node removal, was the best I could have hoped for. Healing was quick and easy with no side effects. Scarring and adhesions were very minimal.
He came highly recommended to me from my most trusted, long time, physician. Thank God I found him. He is the best. If you are lucky enough to have him as your breast surgeon, feel blessed.
