I went to see Dr. Tallarico after I ran out of interventional shots. He told me I had to have surgery on one level of my spine at C3 to prevent paralysis and have another surgery to fix pain. As a doctor, he was supposed to coordinate with another doctor on a treatment plan for the other doctor’s treatment, but he did not and when I brought it up, I was told I canceled. He’s probably a competent surgeon, but he’s arrogant and does not listen and I do not have any confidence in him at all and believe his only interest is fund... read more
If I could give this man negative stars I would! I have and had severe osteomyelitis with myopathy due to bone and disc deterioration. If I did not have surgery done to correct this, I would have been essentially paralyzed within a year or so. I had an almost 12 hour surgery by Dr. Tallarico where in he operated on the back of my neck as well as the front. After surgery, I was in ICU for a few days and thereafter in a regular hospital room on a morphine drip as I was in excruciating pain. Once home, and then back to him for ... read more
Dr. 'T' may not show up to your visit on time, but he's worth the wait, and the reason he's behind is because he truly does provide each and every one of his patients with personalized care. There is no conveyor belt in his office! I wouldn't see anyone else for my neck and lumbar issues. Dr. T performed surgery on my neck, and my back is next. He is an EXCELLENT doctor!
Dr. Tallarico performed lumbar laminectomy L4-L5 (April 2013) and ACDF on C4,C5,C6,C7 (May 2014) due to my degenerating discs (age 58). I had minor complications after ACDF, losing most motor skills in right arm post surgery. He explained minor nerve damage may have occurred ('stretching') during procedure but most probably would heal, slowly (12 weeks + PT). It healed fine, no issues with my arm motion/strength now in 2022. My neck mobility is Very good despite the pins, screws, and metal plate. no issues with the original ... read more
Last year Dr. Tallarico operated on my cervical and lumbar spine. His staff is professional, efficient and knowledgeable. He listened to my concerns, discussed the findings of my MRI's and CAT scans, discussed various options available to me. His surgical team was outstanding as well. He only does spine surgeries so has a wealth of experience. Highly recommend him.
BAD BAD BAD DO NOT TRUST HIM! GO TO ALBANY
I have more constant pain now than I have ever had. No stars SUFFERING!!
Great doctor. He provided the information that I asked and I feel that he cares about my problem I have had for 6 months.
I had become completely disabled by back pain and unsteady gait. I was turned down for surgery at another medical center. Dr. Tallarico performed 2 operations. He was very honest about the complexity, pain, and potential problems. It was indeed a long and difficult process but I am doing well, back to work, and very grateful for his excellent care.
