Dr. Mejia has been our family dermatologist for 14 years and counting. To my mother, he has in someway served as a sort of guardian angel especially during her bout with skin cancer over a decade ago which she was able to successfully defeat with the help of Dr. Mejia. Subsequently, to myself and my father he has also provided excellent care and we could not be more grateful. I most favorably recommend Dr. Mejia, you will be in exceptional hands.

I had mild acne on my face and back. He prescribed me a pill to take each day. I started taking the medicine for a week and spent one day in the sun. He NEVER mentioned that I should not go in the sun while on this medication. I broke out in a rash all over my body and he could not identify what it was. He prescribed me over 6 different medicines over the next two weeks and nothing was helping. I went to a different derm and they knew what to do right away. Worst experience with a dr. ever.

We have been seeing Dr. Mejia for years. He has helped us with a range of different dermatological needs- including annual skin cancer exams, strange rashes, anti-aging skin care and skin cancer. He's performed Mohs surgery on my face for basal cell carcinoma and I have really no visible scar at all. Dr. Mejia is so knowledgeable and professsional. I trust all of our dermatological needs to Dr. Mejia! I have referred so many people to Dr. Mejia already.

I have been seeing Dr Mejia for 7 years now for a multitude of sun damaged skin problems. I live in Stuart--a 30 minute ride away--but prefer Dr Mejia in Jupiter over any other Stuart dermatology doctor. I was in the US Navy for 30 years and was treated in 1987 for melanoma, squamous cell, basal cell carcinoma, and actinic keratosis. Fortunately, the melanoma has never returned but continue to be plagued with squamous and basal cell anomalies, along with numerous actinic keratosis. The VA takes

Find that his temperament varies, not to an extreme point, but after years is seeing him I don't find it comforting. Haven't notice any deterioration of expertise. I have seen a large amount of specialists the past fifteen years and rate their temperament as an important factor, as ego often is a cover for lack of expertise and confidence.

During the consultation, I was told IPL Photofacial treatment should be able to get rid of the age spots on my hands. So, I bought an IPL package treatment package. After the whole series of the treatments (they even added one more treatment for free) but nothing is changed! Then, they told me because of the color of my age spot is not dark enough for the IPL machine to identify. I wonder if this was the case, why didn?t they tell me before I bought the treatment?!

I had a horrific experience. He damaged my face so badly I had to see a plastic surgeon to repair it!
