The appointment was for 3:30 in the afternoon, and I set off from my home in suburban Maryland in plenty of time to be there. At 3:25 her office called my HOME phone and canceled the appointment. When I arrived at her office a few minutes late I first learned that they had canceled the appointment before I even got there.
