Dr Bender was extremely knowledgeable and took time to explain options to treat my condition.
I explained that I’ve had severe symptoms for more than 2 months and gave her the test results previously done. She ordered other tests without giving me any medication. She wasnt friendly and understanding. I felt that discussing with her my condition will make her angrier. I called in the afternoon if she can give me something to treat the symptoms in the meantime, waiting for the tests. Nobody returned my call. Waiting for tests scheduled after a month she left me without any relief.
Dr. Bender demonstrated excellent bedside manner and reassurance before,prior to procedure and after procedure. She was visible to whole time and made the procedure totally relaxing. Her staff were excellent and had my safety and comfort as their priority.
My endoscopy on August 24 went very smoothly. The nurses were very attentive and compassionate. Dr. Bender spoke to me about her findings very shortly after my procedure so I was in and out of office very quickly.
Dr. Bender was great from the moment I met her at the office visit. I needed a colonoscopy and an endoscopy. She answered all my questions & addressed all my concerns that I was very confident I was in good hands. The day of the procedures everyone from the front desk to the nurse who took me back were pleasant & made me very comfortable. My experience was very good & Dr. Bender is a great doctor.
At both first and second look, Dr Bender appears to be kind. She is direct, and willing to engage with the patient at a one on one level. Overall impression is one of intelligence and competence. Everyone involved in the procedure was kind and responsive especially the Dr. who was head of anesthesiology. She listened and made changes that made me feel safer.
I recently had an endoscopic exam. I was a bit apprehensive, but I need not have been. It was over in 20 minutes and I did not remember or feel a thing. I also appreciated Dr Bender's immediately explaining the results and handing me a typed report of the findings. The staff was very attentive and professional. Thanks for a job well done.
I have the highest confidence in Dr. Bender. Relocating in the West Chester, Pa. area, I needed a new Gastroenterologist and she came highly recommended. Because of my history of esophageal cancer, I needed someone that would continue to follow the course of needing frequent endoscopic procedures on a maintenance basis as well as other gastro procedures. Dr. Bender has more than filled my needs. I would highly recommend her for anyone needing a excellent Gastroenterologist.
I will strongly recommend Dr. Bender to all my friends and associates as my experience went exceptionally smooth. The entire staff introduced themselves and was extremely friendly and courteous, the center was very clean and I was made very comfortable. The wait time was very brief and every aspect was very well explained so I knew what to expect. Dr. Bender spoke with me prior to the procedure and came to me after the procedure and explained her findings, which was very comforting.
