I am so grateful that I was referred to Dr. Wainess. He is the best! I would not hesitate referring friends or relatives to Dr. Wainess.
My eyes were red, sensitive to light and tender to the touch. After receiving several prescriptions of steroid drops and returning many times to Dr. Coden, he gave up and said he could not help me. The NEXT Ophthalmologist suspected it may be related to an autoimmune disorder and he was RIGHT. The Rheumatologist confirmed Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS). I like fact that Dr Wainess dilates my eyes at each visit to check for macular degeneration as my mother lost her central vision to that. I makes me feel confident that this doctor is concerned about my vision long term.
