Every single 1 star review is correct, 100% on point. He told me to see a psychologist for testing before he would prescribe a certain medication to me. Psychologist recommended and wrote approval for drug. On my next visit with Saleem, he said he wouldn't write the prescription because of my past heroin addiction. I've never done heroin and I have no addiction problems. I argued this with him, but he didn't budge. Wasted $300 on the test and 3 months of my time. How does that even happen?!
Dr Saleem was very uninterested in changing my meds, which was my whole reason for coming to see him. He just wanted me to make another appointment next week (to make more money). Ugh ??
Was not concerned that I was suicidal, told me to find another doctor. !!!! An unsafe provider.
Listens but does not intrupt. Does not have an issue with me doing my own research
Doesn't listen very well and is quick to rush you out of your appointment. Also not very warm or caring.
I have never written a review for anyone before, but seeing the rating for Dr. Saleem, I felt I had to respond. I am a new patient to Dr. Saleem, and suffer from depression and several other conditions that have left me disabled. My daughter, who is a nurse, made me an appointment with Dr. Saleem because he was recommended by friends. I found him to be very concerned about my overall health. He asked questions and discussed other options for treatment. Within 2 days after changes I was better
Don't understand english! He doesn't listen to the patient! He doesn't take good notes, doesn't remember what was discussed on previous appointments, Doesn't change Med Regime if having adverse side effects. Only sees you for a very few minutes to review your condition. Not friendly or personable, Terrible bedside manner. Not friendly or personable. Seems not to care at all about you or the condition you are suffering from. Find another provider, Dr Saleem is simply awful.
I have NO idea what the other patients are refering to. Dr. Saleem has been very understanding and listened well. Anytime I need anything from him or his staff it is always addressed promptly. Whether it's paperwork, call backs from the Doctor, billing, it is all organized. He also doesn't switch my medications around every 5 minutes either. Many physicians in mental health are often check the box and distant. Although he is not neccessarily one to joke around with you--he is far from rude.
Only ever sees me for about 5 minutes, doesn't listen or seem to care. Told me a minute into meeting him, I needed to do TMS or he wouldn't sign my work paperwork. Now, I'm paying the bills every month. He is the one that wouldn't sign my paperwork to go back to work after a traumatic event AND the death of my only family member, my mother. Now, he asks ME what he should write on the paperwork not to send me back to work and seems clueless. He didn't even know my mother died eight months later!
