One day as I stood from squatting position, fiery pain made it impossible to walk and put weight on my left leg. I needed to be seen by a doctor asap. Dr Ajakwe seems companionate and competent. The problem is how his office is run. Staff don’t answer the phone. It goes to voicemail and it’ll take weeks if ever to get a return call. Email doesn’t work. Staff says it does but if you reply to their message, your mail bounces. The patient portal? They never reply. Dr Ahajewe, after six months of trying I am going elsewhere. I was went to Dr. Ajakwe for a diagnostic injection ordered by a world renowned spine surgeon who has very likelihood of curing my chronic neck pain, instead of giving me the injection the spine doctor ordered he called the process outdated and instead offered his temporary solutions to my pain which I would have to return to him on regular basis. Appointment was made, changed, then cancelled after I had made preparations. It is impossible to talk to the doctor and he only wants to do surgery. You will be harassed by physician assistants.
Dr. Ajakwe is very compassionate and knowledgeable. He has helped me so much with my pain management.
dr ajakwe was aggressive, rushed & uncaring. explained NOTHING about proposed procedure. never laid a finger on me, even tho i was hysterical w pain. i’m afraid of him...

In my opinion, since he's my MD: He is ill equipped to provide adequate or appropriate healthcare. Does not return telephone calls, even via staff. If you want a "frightened little boy" as your physician, he might be the right choice. Just my truthful opinion. Current patient who will be moving on rapidly!
Not impressed. Very impersonal and does not explain anything. I had an epidural done and he put me under...for a shot in the lower back. I was sick for days after. Went to another docter and had another epidural done and it took longer to get the gown on then the shot. Left fine and no problems.
