Wait an hour when no one in waiting room. 2 min with the dr. No relief a day latter. Called in to ask advice. Promised to call back when file is pulled. 2 hrs no return call. You can do better!
I was diagnosed with a heel spur that was and still is very painful . They gave me meds that allowed me to keep working which was great. They advised me that this could go on for quite some time. Tried to get a refill after 2 visits and they refuse to renew my prescription unless I pay them $100.00 each time. No wonder med costs are out of control. Best $100 I have ever spent!!! I was in Charleston for a wedding this past weekend and woke up feeling VERY sick. Because I have a newborn I wanted to get on antibiotics fast so I went to the nearest Urgent Care which happened to be Medcare Express. What a great experience I had. Not only did they see me right away, I received a throat and nose culture, full doctor exam, chest x-ray, a booster shot, AND got my presciption filled right there in the office. Short wait. Doctors took very good care of me. Nurses were fantastic. Everyone appears to enjoy working there. Probably the best "doctor visits" I've ever had.
If your looking for a doctor that is going to rush you through and not listen to you fully and give you half of your diagnoses then this is the doctor to go to! They didn't listen to what I was telling them. They sent me for a MRI and when it came back they told me all I had was a little arthritis, nothing serious. Two weeks later I went to a different doctor and it turns out that I have two bulging disc, arthritis, and narrowing of the spinal canal! I will end up having surgery soon because of it. Excellent service! I am new to the area and don't have a family doctor yet here in Charleston. I was going to go to Doctor's Care but decided to go here. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The nurses were very polite. The doctor was great. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Very nice and clean.
I would like to say that this facility was the best experience that I ever had going to a medical place the staff was fantastic from the minute I walked in to the min. I left they went way out of there way to take care of my medical needs. I would recommend this Medcare Express to everyone I know.. Patrick Mulheir
