In 22 years of encounters with psychiatrists, Dr. Fidaleo has made the biggest, most positive, honest, and sincerely life changing impact on my life! His expertise combined with his genuine care for his patient’s quality of life as well as his efforts to empower and foster the realization of goals is invaluable!!!
He helped my daughter so much and he is a wonderful warm extremely smart doctor we respect...we were just looking to see if he retirered yet as he said he was years ago when we last saw him. What a dedicated man!!!
The most respected practitioners among his peers beyond San Diego County. Of course he's old school and a "bulldozer" among other inferences of his "bullish" style by peers... He's 82 from NY and working same as ever. Best expert on medication, medical procedures, behavioral therapies, and contemporary alertnatives and approaches to mental health research than any practitioner I've worked with and/or heard of. Not to mention the level of compassion his patients receive, whether or not they recognize it.
There's not a kinder or more qualified psychiatrist on this planet!
Would not recommend. Very old school. Makes huge, drastic, dangerous assumptions after a <half hour conversation. Does not observe patient/provider confidentiality and caused me more harm than good on so many levels.
I have been all over the country for psychiatric care in the past 5 years and no doctor has ever helped me as much as Dr.Fidaleo has. He is a fantastic doctor that genuinely cares so much about his patients. No doctor has ever been able to stabilize me and put me on the right medications but he did in under 2 months. Dr.Fidaleo is the reason I am still alive today. I would recommend him to anyone with a severe and complex psychiatric condition.
