I would like to share my experiences and ordeal with back pain and how it got fixed. I have been experiencing back pain off and on for about 20 years but it would come and go. Thoughts were that it was related to raising kids, housework or yard work. About 5 months before my surgery the pain in my back reached a point where walking was nearly impossible, I was hunched over and my feet were going numb with shooting pain down my legs that did not go away. I wasn’t even sure that my legs would hold me up at times. After getting... read more

I was treated amazingly well, communication was clear and complete. Putting yourself in the fully dependent position of laying naked on a hospital bed (temporarily covered by a thin sheet) can leave you feeling somewhat embarrassed, at least it did for me. But the staff helping me really put my mind at ease. I was scared... they made me feel calm, cared for, and in good hands. Then I went to sleep. Zero pain following procedure, and one day later... walking and standing after 2+ months in a wheelchair. No more sciatica. Than... read more

Dr Ravi is the best! I have suffered with lower back pain for years. He went over all my images with me and answered all my questions (there were a lot) with a very clear and easy to understand approach. After discussing my different options surgery was offered and I was scheduled a date. I am now 3 weeks post surgery and feel amazing. I Just wish I would have found him sooner! Everything from scheduling my first appointment to now has been seamless. The office is beautiful and well run with friendly and helpful staff. I wil... read more

I was referred to Dr. Ravi through my health care plan. My lower lumber was a hot mess with major disc issues, resulting from injury several years ago. It all blew apart again which led me to Dr. Ravi. I could not walk, the pain was excruciating and constant. Dr. Ravi and his staff were on top of everything from the first appointment. I'll tell you this, I've never had a scheduling issue with his staff, and I've never waited more than a minute or two for Dr. Ravi to show up in the exam room. These things are challenges with ... read more

This 87 year old patient can only describe Dr. Ravi as my hero. After two months of almost unbearable leg pain, tests and unproductive multiple injections, I was referred to Dr. Ravi for a possible back operation. Because of a delayed insurance approval, my operation was rescheduled a week later. Unfortunately, the next day, my pain got so severe that I went to the hospital's ER, not knowing how I could survive the pain another day. The ER doctor said Dr. Ravi was in surgery at the hospital that day, and for me to hold on. A... read more

I recently was referred to Dr. Ramachandran for back and leg pain. Finally someone believed me that I really did have pain that was getting worse. Dr. Ramachandran recognized my issues and was willing to help me alleviate the pain. Its only been just over 2 months since the surgery and I'm feeling so much better. No more leg pain which was a big concern for me when I walked. It's gone. Thank you so much for your help!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Ravi. From initial consultation, he looked at my history and everything he considered for repair, then he gave his opinion on what should be treated first and ASKED me how I felt about this. His office staff are friendly, showing respect and kindness. Scheduling appointments, surgery date and the rescheduling surgery date as quickly as they did (only three days later). Today, at 11 weeks post-op from an S1 - L5 Laminectomy and Fusion performed by this "Rock Star" surgeon, I now have a ne... read more

Dr. Ramachandran is extremely competent, superbly educated, and an awesome surgeon. Not only did he do an excellent job where my disc was impinging on a nerve but was great handling concerns too. I had a list of questions to ask him before surgery but was concerned I might forget answers to all of them. No problem. The doctor called me the say before surgery asked if I had questions and then patiently answered a whole list of them. Couldn't ask for better.
