My neurologist retired from this same office (he was excellent) so I was continuing care with Dr. G. First time he had met me and he didn’t even examine me and I have an ongoing medical issue . Didn’t even touch me . I will not be going back . He did not care a bit about me . So disappointing.
Dr. Gopalaswamy is an excellent doctor. He is caring, thorough, and a superb diagnostician. He is also easy to talk to. I highly recommend him. I saw reviews that were critical of the office staff, but in the years I’ve been going to him there’s never been any indication of those problems. Most importantly, he is a great doctor.

Prospective new patient here. I mistakenly thought my appointment was for noon, but apparently it was for 9AM. When I called to reschedule, I was told it was less than 24 hours out and had a $50 fee. Their lack of flexibility told me all I needed to know about how my future care would be in the facility. I then told the assistant to just remove me from their list, and she immediately said 'Ok! Have a great day!' This confirmed my decision. Be aware of the flags and do not go to this office.

I was very pleased with my first appointment with Dr. Steen. I rarely do on-line reviews; I only do them if someone was exceptional or extremely poor. I felt like Dr. Steen and her staff were exceptional. I was referred to Dr. Steen through an associate of a friend, who is in the neurology field. I don’t think I was Dr. Steen’s typical patient, however, she and her staff could not have made me feel more welcomed. My experience visit with this doctor was negative. I am addressing his behaviour to ensure better care for everyone..His insulting behavior was even noticed by his nurse who was in the room with us.Also his discriminatory behaviour which was due to the race was not acceptable and it should be reported to Broward Health Hospital who he works for. Part of being an excellent physician is the ability to listen to patients concerns and be empathetic in ways necessary and make necessary recommendations. He’s lacking in all aspects! I would not recommend going to this guy for any neurological needs. He’s below average.
