Dr Kapur retinal specialist delivered excellent care, urgency and in-depth knowledge. I went to the ER at Northwestern (Huntley, IL) because I lost vision in my left eye. It took 4 hours to be seen. Dr. Kappil (Ophthalmologist on call) left instructions for me to call a number the next morning for a retina specialist. I called and Dr Brodowska returned my call, Dr Brodowska gave me a million excuses why she could not see me that Saturday. The one that stood out was she did not have the proper equipment. Dr. Kapur is amazing. The office staff is amazing, friendly and efficient. They don't waste my time. It's amazingly well organized. The most pleasant physicians office experience that you can have. They do a fantastic job.
Dr. Kapur saw me for 3-4 years at her Rockford office for retina issues. I have concerns: 1. For my last appointment after a reminder from her the previous day, I went there in the morning at 7:30 a.m. to find the office locked. No one returned my call or answered my note on my Patient portal. (Although later she sent me a bill from a previous visit to pay). 2.
