First impression was horrendous. He attempted to insert a needle without letting me know he was doing so. When I mentioned it, he said that he did and that I 'wasn't listening' He had actually been conversing with a technician, so he didn't make it a point to speak to me directly. He tried to brush past it and continue. This is a very unprofessional doctor, he called my parents to notify them that he will be on vacations 3 days before my mom's appointment. We have been waiting for this appt for almost 5 months, and for he to reschedule her 2 months later is not fair, apparently he does not care about new patients. I want to mention that the original appt was back on December 2024, to then reschedule it again for the end of February 2025 because he is fully booked! I was referred to this doctor by my primary care. They bucked me off to a Nurse Practitioner. They scheduled me for a test. Only when l arrived there was l told they could only do a part of the test. Then l finally got a Tele appointment with him. Unfortunately there was a technical glitch. He was very hasty and did not explain much. He spent less than 5 minutes on the telephone and was gone. What a waste of time! Dr. Lugo is now the third neurologist from Cleveland center who demonstrated complete ignorance about neurological concerns. I’m literally wondering what state in America has actual doctors with genuine education and familiarity in the field is sturdy that’s advertised about them online. Lugo’s lack of interest, listening and responses were not accurate to the concerns shared. It was one and a half hour drive for absolutely nothing, again.
