Wait forever
I have had a sinus issue for 4 yrs and finally got an appointment with Dr.Ramakrishna after waiting almost 2 yrs. He spent only a couple of minutes with me...no examination, just prescribes a medication for 3 months (which i had already tried) and sent me on my way. After the 3 months and the medication not helping, he just said there is nothing he can do for me and wouldn't see me again, telling me to go back to my family doctor. Dr. Ramakrishna was very friendly and compassionate. Made me feel welcome and safe. I would like to give him a high 4 rating if I could. I'd recommend him any time.
Spent a month in the ICU and now my septum is literally free floating in my nose. I cannot breathe properly, cannot sleep, and my septum is now actively coming OUT of my nose. I can physically pull it outward. Apparently that still is not considered urgent enough. My original appointment was booked for 2027. Only after my family doctor pushed and explained how serious things were did they finally get me in sooner. I was put on antibiotics and saline rinses. After ONE month things got WORSE, not better. My child has ongoing breathing problems during both the day and night, and it is affecting her daily life at school and in after-school activities. We waited 6 months for this appointment, and it lasted only about 3 minutes. The doctor did not examine my child at all. He did not check her nose, ears, or throat, and immediately sent us for a sleep study. Thankfully, the results showed that my child does not have sleep apnea.
