Dr. Ramakrishnan was absolutely amazing. For weeks I knew something was wrong and after seeing several doctors, Dr. Ramakrishnan found a severly herniated disc in my back. With me being pregnant the surgery was very risky, but absolutely needed to function properly. Dr. Rama waited until he felt that both baby and I would be safe and performed the surgery. Immediately after the surgery I was immediatly able to sit, walk and stand! My family and I are so grateful to him and the care he gave!
Dr. Ramakrishnan is great. He sits down and talks to you like a real person and genuinely shows empathy towards you as a patient with a problem. He actually talked me out of a surgery that I was sure that I needed, and helped me with non-surgical options that have allowed me to work and live normally again.
Could not be more pleased with my experience. His concern for my well-being was evident from 1st visit to post op care. He has a heart for pts...a true pts 1st Dr and patient advocate. His knowledge and understanding is matched by his ability to put it into practice. I would HIGHLY recommend him.
My son fail and was taking to the hospilal the family was very upset and we went to Dr Ramakriskrishnan he said my would not need what they said.He is going back to work next week thank you so much Mrs. Mary E. Fowler
Dr. Ramakrishnan was excellent. He listened carefully to me explain what has been going on with back pain for the last year. He was very patient as I asked many questions and answered every one. He explained/showed me exactly what was causing my pain and what he could do for me. I needed to have a back lumbar fusion. He explained the procedure thoroughly. The operation went off exactly as planned. His staff is excellent and easy to communicate with.
Dr. Ramakrishnan was easy to talk to and great to work with. The surgery went well. I have no pain and great mobility in my back. I am recovering nerve function to my leg and regaining my balance. Much better result than I thought possible.
Overall I was disappointed with my experience. Dr. Ramalrishnan was a nice person, however when I scheduled to meet with a 'specialist' I expected someone who was able to perform a quality assessment and provide quality treatment/info. Instead when going over X-rays he reports he didn't know the view pt, he told me to place a heel lift on the incorrect side, measured my leg length with a rope, no tape measure available? Told me nothing more he could do until I was in pain. Charged me $1,457.50.
