Waste of time. Doctor in a big hurry. Spine problems have many causes and are serious and need the dedication of someone who has the time. Automate beforehand all the info you need and this may open up your schedule. Do not open the door and yell down the hall when you are with a patient!
I visited the office. Spent more time with nurse than doctor. He referred me to MRI. One co-pay. I called to get results and they scheduled a phone call so I could be spoken down to because he was overtly irritated that day. He sent me to a nerve specialist Second co-pay. They didn’t call me with results until I called two weeks later. They wouldn’t give me results unless I scheduled another phone call and co-pay? Not only was Dr. Patel in a hurry, he didn’t listen to my concerns during the time he did allow.
Visiting this medical office was unsettling. For one, there were no other patients in the office. The receptionist was inexplicably negative, and I later learned why. Patel himself, apart from being ignorant about my symptoms, was antagonistic, and condescending. He accused me of “talking over him”, which was technically impossible as the visit consisted of Patel’s accusatory monologue. Great doctor! Actually took the time to listen to me and let me talk rather than talking to me. Found the cause of my pain and treated it with a procedure. Really gentle with the procedures and cares! Glad I found him
Dr. Patel is amazing! I’ve seen so many physicians before him & he was the only one who truly took the time to listen to me & come up with a treatment plan that worked. I wish I would have found him sooner. I’d highly recommend Dr. Patel to anyone looking for an excellent interventional pain physician.
Dr Patel is a wonderful doctor! He listens (rare quality these days), is compassionate, and very knowledgable. I had seen 3 doctors before him, had a spinal fusion and still had pain. Dr Patel was able to find the source of my pain and treat it right away without using pain medications. I have referred friends and family to Dr Patel and will continue to do so. He helped me get back to work and on with my life!
poor manners for a Doctor, was recommended but what a mistake that was, cares only about how many he see's not in quality of service.
