Real personality to the point and a good doctor
Doctor gave me confidence that I was being heard and assessed professionally. Speaks in plain language. Felt like he cared & I was important.
Dr Prabakaran took the time to explain everything in detail, and was able to find the solution to my problem after suffering for years. I was extremely happy with my visit.
He performed a routine endoscopy on my husband and Dr Prabakaran told us it went fine. Well it didn’t. He perforated the esophagus during the procedure. My husband spent two and half months of hospitalization while other surgeons tried to repair the tear. My husband died. He bled to death in his sleep, all due to Dr Prabakaran’s procedure.
This doctor seems to listen and is knowledgeable, he did not solve our issue and referred us to another specialist. His nurse Pam is another story she is rude, impatient, condescending and in the wrong profession. People go to a doctor for a reason, they need compassion and understanding, not an impatient rude nurse who acts like she is doing you a favor by letting you into the exam room. I had a successful endoscopy procedure with Doctor Prabakaran. Few years after, I went to see him, with a referral from my doctor to check if I might be impacted by a gastrocardiac symptom or Roemheld syndrome that involves a complex of symptoms where issues with the gut are found to be associated with cardiac symptoms like shortness of breath, chest pain, nausea, palpitations, skipped beats, and arrhythmias.
