I had RTKR in Sept.24 and LTKR in Dec.24. The experience with Dr. Raj Shani and his staff was outstanding. I highly recommend the Mako Robotic process as I experienced minimal pain. In the followup appointments Terri Bowden, NP was a great help throughout the entire process. After the surgery it is very important that you do the physical therapy as it will help your healing and recovery. In less than 3months after the final surgery I was back on the golf course! I had an appointment with Dr Raj Shani on July 28 2025 at his 950 Corbindale office as a new patient to treat severe pain in my right shoulder. I got a call from his office on 7/24 in the morning to let me know he does not see patients older than 60 years of age and cancelled my appointment. This is clearly a case of age discrimination. He is only seeing probably younger patients so that he can make more money by operating them for their condition. This is pure greed plain and simple.
