I met Raj in August 1994 at Nashoba Hospital. He stepped in almost a month after nobody could figure out what was wrong and diagnosed me with Ulcerative Colitis. He immediately put me on 1600 Mg of Asacol. About a year later following a colonoscopy he pissed me off by dismissing my concerns of bleeding so I switch to Dr Schwartz. I continued the Asacol until 2014 when it appeared I was in remission. this month, Nov 2023 the Doc who performed my colonoscopy kept asking me if I was sure I ever had it. He found zero signs !!! I had my third colonoscopy with Dr. Devarajan today. He's simply the best. Extremely competent and knowledgeable. You know you're in good hands with him. He has clearly done literally thousands of these before. The procedure is quick and painless. His overall facility is efficient, friendly, and supportive. The staff is wonderful--true caregivers.
Office staff was courteous and supportive. Wait time was minimal. Dr. Raj Devarajan was considerate and took time to explain all issues and concerns. Would highly recommend the organization and Dr. Raj Devarajan.
Dr. Raj did an excellent job with my 5 year colonoscopy. He made this procedure very comfortable before and after. His note of details was also significant. He noted something that may be insignificant but has given a follow up to ensure there are not any issues. He is a true practicioner!
I've been going to Dr. Devarajan for several years now and each time I go, for either a colonoscopy or endoscopy, I always feel so taken care of. Dr. Devarajan takes the time to know the full picture of your health situation and is very good about explaining options for medications and/or follow-up care. Also, Dr. Devarajan's whole team is very caring and professional. I feel very fortunate to have such excellent health care.
I have had Dr. Devarajan for many years and this was the first time I had my colonoscopy at his center and it was the best experience. The last time I had it at a hospital and it took hours upon hours. Not this time I was legit there for 1.5 hours. The nurses, the anesthesiology and the doctors tech was fantastic.
I have had Dr. Devarajan preform three colonoscopies over the years for me and he has always had a respectful and professional demeanor - and he takes the time to explain the results after the procedure.
Dr. Devarajan is one of the best Gastroenterologist I have ever seen. Great bedside manners, sincerely interested in patients well being. Very professional and good listener. Highly recommend him.
