Dr. Pinero and his staff are probably among the most professional in any family practice (or even specialists for that matter) I have ever known. He was my doctor for 7 years until my insurance changed. I came back as soon as the insurance changed again. Yes, they are that good I kept checking. My opinion- the Dr and staff were rude and made too many mistakes, and the only thing that seemed to matter was how much my insurance would cover their charges I won't go back.
Dr. Pinero shows no interest in my medical issues and even goes so far as to argue with me when I tell him the problems I'm having. He also seems to be in a hurry to get me out of his office.
The doctor is dedicated to the patient. The office Manager is incompetent, she does not submit claims on time and then blames the customer for this. Although I went out of my way to mediate with my insurance company and her (in fear to have my treatment affected since I knew I had to deal with her) I did not receive a positive response from her. Dr. Pinero's office has the worst customer service and follow through of any business I have dealt with. Everyone in the office is rude, smug, and disrespectful. I have been going for a year now and have not had one pleasant experience with the office or Dr. Even though he's one of the only LGBT doctors in town, I would steer clear!
Staff seems to be incompetent regarding referrals and medical records. Also test taken but have no results after 30 and 60 days after they were completed. Iam in need of treatment for different needs but have hit a brick wall with this. So upsetting.
Very Rude and disinterested Doctor in my opinion - Almost a year before I saw Pinero - Always see a Physicians Assistant. Billed me after I paid upon exiting. Been many years seeing his office...I am now actively seeking another physician.
I like this office so much that even when I moved away from the area, I still drive back to see him. He can be very dry but he is very helpful and I could not ask for a BETTER staff. The office staff are great, the medical assistants are great, and his nurse practitioner is wonderful. I having nothing but respect for this office and will continue going there as long as I live in Central Florida.
I love this office. Piñero's medical assistants Iysha and Raquel are the best! They are super friendly, love what they do, get back to me with my lab results in a timely manner, and show compassion for how I am feeling. They make all the difference. I also think his new PA and the previous NP were also great, as well as the male admin assistant (forgot his name). I highly recommend this office. You also don't have a long wait like most doctor's offices and they always remember me, which I feel is important.
