Dr. Raman seems to be the absolute worse doctor I have dealt with in years. For three years, I tried and tried to understand her lack of empathy and compassion but still have yet to see things through her eyes. Maybe a review of the Hippocratic Oath is called for. She is extremely condescending and does not actually appear to care about the patient but rather the payment.
Honestly best doctor I've found! I have such a hard time finding doctors who actually take the time to care. I used to go see Dr. Raman at Ochsner and when she moved, I followed her! In my experience, she's the only one who treats me like her only patient! She and her staff are very professional and personable. I never have to wait long to be seen and there are never any complications with my scheduling! My favorite thing is how you can call after hours for any emergency!
I know Dr. Raman from when she did her residency at LSU Family Medicine for 3 years. I scheduled most of her appointments and she was always on time. She is very professional and treats each patient like they are special. Now that she has relocated to her own Practice, I still see her as a patient myself because I trust her. I'd recommend Dr. Raman to anyone!
Upon the recommendation of someone close to me I saw Dr. Raman. My first visit left me skeptical as she seemed distant and quite cold. I was feeling completely put out and thought her bedside manner left much to be desired. However, I tried again. This time was the last time. She was rude, inconsiderate and made me feel very uncomfortable with her lack of interpersonal skills. I don't like to give bad reviews but unfortunately, sometimes it is necessary. Her staff was great.
She always has time to see me when I am not feeling good!!
Saw my doctor on the same day I called Same day appt. The Doctor saw me at 2:00 for a 2:00 appt. (That has never happened before) Great bedside manner. Highly recommend!!!
