Seen Oct 2025 for initial consult appt. I wasn’t impressed with Dr. Relwani. Her personality was flat and impersonal! She recommended that I start on Metformin without first monitoring my blood sugar. I declined the Metformin Rx and told her I was trying to gain weight and knew this medication could cause weight loss. My weight was 139 lbs and I am a 5 ft 10.5 in female with a BMI only 19.66 at the time. I was underweight!!! I found her to be one of the best doctors I have ever had. Very sad that she is leaving Laureate.
I’ve been to Dr Relwani over the past few years and after my appointment a few days ago , I’m done. Kept excusing her attitude but I’ve finally had enough. She’s not friendly at all, makes sweeping statements about your health but won’t explain anything and barely says 5 words while she’s with you. Never asks how you are feeling, symptoms, etc… I would have switched years ago but I can’t find an endocrinologist accepting new patients. But I will never go back to her. I would give zero stars but it won’t let me.
From the minute, I walked in and she asked me why I was there, I could tell whatever I said, would not matter. Very quickly, she told me what test she was going to do and asked if she should test for anything else?? Never asked me any real questions. Very unconcerned and uninterested. Highly recommend you go somewhere else.
