DONT WASTE YOUR TIME Scheduled and confirmed a new patient cleaning 2 weeks In advance. I get there and they said they don’t do cleanings first visit and it would be 2 weeks until they can do a cleaning. My appointment was literally confirmed for a cleaning . Staff was rude and don’t care at all. Front desk blonde manager lady didn’t even pretend to care. Coast dental oldsmar is a waste of time

Dr. Spicola has been my dentist for years and her work is by far the best. She has saved my teeth from root canals and has been able to make my smile beautiful. Always polite and always great bedside manner.
She has a lot of knowledge, Very efficient, and extremely skilled. She actually cares about others.
My insurance covers 100% for two cleanings per year. On my first visit they took x-rays and told me I needed a deep cleaning. Although I brush, floss, and get my teeth cleaned twice a year, I agreed to it based on their scare tactics. It cost upwards of 260.00 after insurance. I went back 6 months later for another regular cleaning, not a deep cleaning. When I arrived the hygenist insisted that I do a deep cleaning, to which I refused. Appointments constantly rescheduled. You can wait 45 minutes but get canceled if you’re 10 minutes late. Cleanings are 500.00 when upselling is calculated. This dentist is all about the sale not the patient.
Very informative and friendly dentist. Will answer any question you have, will explain most procedures without needing asked, will explain all procedures if asked. Prefers giving what you need (whether it costs less or more). I think this is preferable to dentists who either go total barebones off the bat (more risk to your health) vs dentists who find every little thing to charge you for.
